Introduction: Child labour is one of the most pressing problems faced by society today. It refers to the employment of children in work that is harmful to their health, development, and education. Instead of going to school and enjoying their childhood, many children are forced to work in difficult and unsafe conditions. According to UNICEF and International Labour Organization, child labour includes any work that deprives children of their basic rights, such as education, safety, and dignity. It often forces children into a life of hardship at a very young age. Cause: The main cause of child labour is poverty. Families who struggle to meet their daily needs often depend on their children to contribute financially. Lack of proper education facilities and awareness also plays a major role.
